The Executive Chairman of Aninri Local Government Area, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, has reacted with joy to the recent appointment of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah as the head of the Presidential Committee on the Rehabilitation and Modernization of Security Training Institutions in Nigeria.
In a statement issued from his office, Prince Nwanjoku referred to the appointment as a defining moment that highlights Governor Mbah’s rising influence in national affairs and his capacity to contribute to Nigeria’s security reform agenda.
According to the council chairman, the governor’s elevation to the national platform is not accidental, but a direct outcome of his intentional governance style and his strategic approach to aligning Enugu State with the Federal Government for mutual development gains.
Prince Nwanjoku emphasized that the steady wave of new investments and infrastructural restoration across Enugu — such as the reactivation of Niger Gas, the renewal drive at Hotel Presidential, the new International Conference Centre, the revived aviation sector initiatives, and upgraded transport terminals — reflects the governor’s forward-thinking leadership, which has now attracted recognition at the national level.
“Governor Mbah has demonstrated capacity, clarity, and courage in leadership. His appointment is well-deserved and represents confidence in his ability to contribute meaningfully to national security reforms,” he said.
The chairman added that the task ahead rehabilitating and revitalizing training institutions for the Police and other security agencies is a critical cornerstone in strengthening Nigeria’s fight against insecurity. He expressed optimism that Governor Mbah will bring structure, innovation, and practical reform strategies to the committee’s work.
Prince Nwanjoku encouraged citizens of Enugu and Nigerians in general to continue to support the governor, describing him as a leader with long-term vision and national relevance.
